Lisbon Nearshore is a Boutique Tech Firm. It focuses on innovative, economical and flexible digital solutions for large corporate groups.
The name was not chosen at random. The concept of nearshore is linked to a recent trend of companies relocating (production, offices, etc.) to countries close to their headquarters. It makes the most of costs and time and takes advantage of cultural and business similarities, which are crucial in any kind of business relationship.
Lisbon Nearshore operates from Lisbon, a city increasingly focused on startups and technology in general. Initially focused on retail, some of its clients are linked to the fashion sector, such as Chloé and Hugo Boss.
The brand already existed. However, the team felt that the website didn't quite reflect their concept. They were looking for a more expressive, human and exclusive brand. Aimed at a more premium segment and at specialists in the field, but without seeming more like a normal consultancy. A close brand is capable of fostering a long-term relationship.
Although there was already a structure in place, we started everything from scratch and called for the rebranding and web design of the new site.
Graphically, the idea was to highlight Lisbon's typical identity while promoting the city's business and cultural potential. The "uneven" logo of LisboaNeares refers to the rugged terrain of the capital.
In terms of the brand's unfolding, topographical lines by mathematician Filipe Folque have been used to enrich this typical identity of the Portuguese capital. The underline, meanwhile, is a reference to code language, reminding us that LisbonNearshore is a technology consultancy.
"The identity takes shape and dimension when it unfolds with the topographical lines of Filipe Folque, defining the personality of the LisbonNearshore brand. To do this, we used various points from the topographer's illustration to design various elements that will support the communication of the brand and the website."
Rita Cabecinhas - Digital Designer
Within the areas that define LisbonNearshore's mission, we have created stamps that can be used in both print and digital. These stamps can be used on top of images, as long as the reading is perceptible.
We decided to reinforce the company's unique selling proposition and created three Lisbon Near Shore quality seals, suitable for various graphic pieces. Each one highlights a different aspect of the USP.
Taking three basic copies designed especially for a LisbonNearshore brand, we created a division with the brand's n-line, giving rise to these graphic stains that can be used on different pieces.
An entire campaign, online and offline, was designed on the basis of a grid. Throughout the project, we worked on this system to remain in all the different resources.
We created a grid template to serve as the basis for various pieces of communication (physical and online), where the various elements of the brand can be combined in line with the objective to be achieved.
An important part of the decision-making process is the best way to disseminate the campaign on social media, as well as the assets created to attract people's attention on the streets.
The new site proposes a re-organization of the information architecture of the old site. As a result, all the previous information has been divided into four new sections: Services, Culture, Lisbon and Blog.
In terms of experience, this decision represents an improvement for the different types of users and target audiences. We've adjusted the tone and direction of communication in line with the brand's new positioning in the market and we've given priority to reading the content on the blog.
In the end, we planned for a website that would better showcase what LisbonNearshore is all about in terms of the excellence of its service and that would especially differentiate itself from the competition by the great culture it promotes in the sector. A tailor-made solution for a company that wants to stand out.
A strengthening of positioning and communication with the international market. Now let's move on, and we'll have more news soon. If your brand and website need an overhaul and adaptation to the new markets, talk to us.
Send us your request, we'll analyze it and, in addition to a quote, we'll share initial ideas.
