Encephalitis: site and Gregory AI

Informing, raising awareness, and supporting citizens and the scientific community about encephalitis, its causes, symptoms, diagnostic methods, and therapeutic approaches is the main purpose of the Encephalitis site.

The research project is being developed at the University of Coimbra and will include a gallery of infographics on the topic, developed by one of the doctoral candidates.

Information Architecture

A meticulously organized information architecture was chosen, dividing the content into well-defined categories so that users – whether laypeople or experts – can quickly find what they are looking for.

User-friendly and intuitive design

At the design level, the main concern was to ensure a clear and intuitive navigation experience. 

The chosen color palette, using sober and professional tones, reinforces the project's credibility, while the typography, easy to read, contributes to fluid communication, without visual noise or unnecessary distractions.

The website was built on WordPress, ensuring the necessary flexibility for future updates and the addition of new features.

Research powered by Gregory AI

The área of research was built with integration of Gregory AI, a research assistant that searches for reliable sources in any área, indexes and filters the results, gathering them into a database searcháable. 

Gregory uses Machine Learning to identify, in real time, relevant research and utilizes Artificial Intelligence to extract the main conclusions from the analyzed material.
